Writing Tips – Content or Process?

September 1, 2010

Real Business is a website aimed at entrepreneurs.  It is readable and interesting in my opinion – with very sound advice on topics from networking and websites to finance and leadership.  They love the ‘Ten top tips on…’ style, but if you can live with that – have a look.

I read an article in it called ‘How to Write a Business Plan’ recently and found that the author had given some excellent advice but that it was not what I had expected.  Because of my personal specialism, I thought it was going to be about the WRITING process, but it was all about the content.

I contributed the following article to fill the gap – but the title still is not explicit:

Ten Tips for Writing a Business Plan

How would you make it clear whether your subject was the information you should include or the method of writing?
